The State Department for lands is a central player in Kenya’s socio-economic development plan. Land is one of the key enablers of the ‘Big 4 Agenda’ and the Vision 2030. Land is acknowledged as a key determinant of social, economic and political transformation.
Although Kenya has had different regimes of land management since independence, it is only in 2019 that a definitive land policy was formulated.


To facilitate improvement of the livelihood of Kenyans through efficient land administration, equitable access, secure tenure and sustainable management of land resource

Following President William Ruto’s directive to develop 5000 Affordable Housing in Homabay County, @CS_Njeru visited the site of the Affordable Housing for the official site handover to the National Housing Corporation and the contractor.
