The Ministry of Lands and Physical Planning is a central player in Kenya’s socio-economic development plan. Land is one of the key enablers of the ‘Big 4 Agenda’ and the Vision 2030. Land is acknowledged as a key determinant of social, economic and political transformation.
Although Kenya has had different regimes of land management since independence, it is only in 2019 that a definitive land policy was formulated.

Earlier today appearing before the National Assembly’s Committee on Lands chaired by the Hon. Dr. Rachel Nyamai to address several petititions by Members of Parliament.
