President Uhuru Kenyatta on Thursday presided over the issuance of 2,169 title deeds to residents of Rabai, in Kilifi County.
Speaking at the event, which was also attended by Lands Cabinet Secretary Farida Karoney and her Interior counterpart Fred Matiang’i, President Kenyatta urged the residents to use their newly acquired title deeds to access financial support and engage in long-term investments that would be beneficial to them and their children, instead of selling their land for short-term benefits.
Other leaders present included Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi, Lands CAS Alex Mwiru and his Devolution counterpart Gideon Mung’aro, PSs Nicholas Muraguri (Lands) Enosh Momanyi (Physical Planning), among others.
