Prior to his appointment as Senior Deputy Director and Head of Supply Chain Management Services in December 2018, Mr Nyambeche had served in the same capacity in various ministries since 2007. He holds a Master of Science in Procurement and Logistics from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Nairobi, and Diploma in Purchasing and Supplies from the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS), UK. He is a member of the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management and the Chartered Institute Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS).
