Approval of Sub-division/Amalgamation Schemes
Description: Approval of sub-division or amalgamation schemes is the formal process through which proposed changes to land parcels - either dividing a single plot into smaller units or combining multiple plots into one - are reviewed and authorized by the Directorate.
This approval ensures that the proposed alterations align with zoning regulations, planning standards, and land use policies.
It typically requires submission of a valid PPA2 form, consent from the Land Control Board (for agricultural land), and positive technical comments from land administration, planning, and survey departments.
The process safeguards orderly development and supports proper land management.
Requirements: County approval (PPA2), consent from Land Control Board (for agricultural land), and positive comments from relevant officers.
Charges: Kshs. 1,500 per sub-plot
