Land Transfers

Description: Land transfers involve the official registration of a change in property ownership resulting from transactions such as sales, gifts, or inheritance.

This process ensures that the new owner's rights are legally recognized and recorded in the land registry, providing security of tenure and enabling lawful use or further transactions.

By formalizing ownership changes, land transfers uphold transparency, reduce the risk of disputes, and maintain the integrity of land administration systems.

Requirements: Executed transfer, consent (if applicable), valuation report, rent clearance, stamp duty receipt, original title, ID/passport, PIN certificate, 2 passport-size photos.

Charges: Kshs. 1,000 + Title fee Kshs. 2,500 + Stamp duty (2% or 4% of property value)
