October 2, 2025
Staff of the State Department for Lands and Physical Planning from Nakuru, Bomet, Kericho, Baringo, Kisii, and Nyamira counties have undergone intensive digital skills training as part of the Government’s efforts to boost revenue collection.
The officers are being trained on the National Stamp Duty Module (NSDM), a digital system designed to streamline stamp duty processes, ensure compliance, and increase government revenue.

Through this initiative, the Ministry continues to champion digital transformation, transparency, and efficient service delivery to better serve Kenyans.
The NSDM is part of the Ardhisasa system. It enables users to pay stamp duty for property transactions digitally through Ardhipay, making the process faster, more accurate, and transparent.

The Government is collaborating with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the European Union (EU) through the Digital Land Governance Programme in the training initiative, which has been instrumental in strengthening digitization efforts across the country.
