Partitioning of Property

Description: Partitioning of property is the legal process through which jointly owned land is divided among co-owners, resulting in each party obtaining a distinct, titled portion of the property.

This division can be done voluntarily by mutual agreement or through a court order in cases of dispute.

The process ensures that each co-owner's share is clearly delineated and legally recognized, allowing for independent ownership, use, and further transactions. Partitioning promotes clarity in land ownership, prevents future conflicts, and facilitates efficient land management and development.

Requirements: Executed partition instrument, valuation report, rent apportionment (for leasehold), stamp duty payment, original title, ID/passport, PIN certificate, 2 passport-size photos.

Charges: Kshs. 1,000
