State Department for Lands Strengthens Service Delivery Through Integrity and Values

The State Department for Lands and Physical Planning is strengthening its commitment to transparency, inclusivity, and ethical governance.

During an ongoing retreat, in Machakos County, Director of HRM&D Ms. Janerose Karanja praised the steady progress made by all Directorates in embedding constitutional values and principles in service delivery.

In the 2023/2024 Annual Compliance Report, the Department was recognized as the best-performing State Department in adherence to public service values and principles, ranking second overall nationally. It also ranked among the top revenue collectors, remitting KES 15.276 billion—a milestone achieved through digitized platforms such as Ardhisasa and Ardhipay in alignment with BETA.
