Sarah Chelimo Maina is the Secretary Lands. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and a Master of Laws (LL.M) from the University of Nairobi (UON), as well as a Postgraduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law. She is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with 18 years of experience in land administration and management.

Prior to her appointment, she has been the Acting Land Secretary. She also served as the Deputy Chief Land Registrar and was responsible for coordinating the digitization of land records under the Office of the Land Secretary, where she supervised the digitization process in Nairobi, Murang’a, Isiolo, and Mombasa. She previously worked as the Registrar in charge of the Central Registry and later as the County Land Registrar for Uasin Gishu.
