The State Department for Lands and Physical Planning today hosted an inter-ministerial delegation from Eswatini Government. Led by Principal Secretary Mrs Nonhlanhla Dlamini, the delegation which is in the country for a 5-day bench-marking tour, visited Ardhi House and the NGDC, Ruaraka.

The delegation is in the country to benchmark on different land administration and management processes including Land Policies and Regulations, Valuation, Digitalisation under the National Land Information Management System (NLIMS) among other areas of common interest. The team was also taken through the Department’s digital processes under the ArdhiSasa and Ardhipay systems. In the next two days, the team will be taken through the Survey and Physical Planning processes as well as discussions on land policies.

The team was received at Ardhi House by Secretary Administration Maalim Mohamed, E.B.S. and Director Valuation Herbert Were, Director Land Adjudication and Settlement Kennedy Njenga, National Director Physical Planning Dr. Peris Mang’ira, and Kenneth Kasera from the Regional Centre for Mapping of Resources for Development – RCMRD
