President Ruto Issues 10,807 Title Deeds in New Kiare, Tigania West, Meru County

President Dr. William Samoei Ruto today issued 10,807 title deeds in New Kiare, Tigania West, Meru County.
Speaking at the event, President Ruto, who was accompanied by Deputy President Professor Kithure Kindiki, acknowledged that the region had faced a long-standing challenge of lacking title deeds.

“The government is committed to ensuring that as many Kenyans as possible receive their title deeds for development purposes,” said President Ruto.

He emphasized that the issuance of the title deeds would create opportunities for investors to invest in the land.
Lands, Public Works, Housing, and Urban Development Cabinet Secretary Hon. Alice Wahome, who also spoke at the event, urged Kenyans to use their titles wisely.

“You have waited a long time for these title deeds; they are your gold. Don’t sell all your land to investors,” said Alice Wahome.

Lands and Physical Planning Principal Secretary Generali Nixon Korir was also present during the title issuance.
