Lands and Physical Planning Principal Secretary, Generali Nixon Korir today appeared before the Public Accounts Committee of the National Assembly chaired by Butere Member of Parliament ๐๐จ๐ง. ๐๐ข๐๐ก๐จ๐ฅ๐๐ฌ ๐๐ข๐ง๐๐ข ๐๐ฐ๐๐ฅ๐.
The committee, which convened its meeting at Bunge Towers, is examining the Report of the Auditor General on the Accounts of the National Government for the financial year June 2023.

Lands PS informed the committee that the State Department for Lands and Physical Planning is making good progress on the ongoing digitization program despite the slowdown caused by the budgetary constraints during this financial year.
He also informed the committee that the department has strengthened efforts to control land fraud by working closely with security agencies.
