Collaboration for Change: Ministry of Lands and LSK Nairobi Commit to Streamlining Land Services

Cabinet Secretary for Lands, Public Works, Housing, and Urban Development, Hon. Alice Wahome, this afternoon hosted the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) Nairobi Branch Council, who paid a courtesy call on her. During the meeting, they held productive discussions on enhancing service delivery and land administration. Several key areas of focus were identified, including land law, title security, and sectional properties, with both parties agreeing to collaborate in addressing these critical issues.

“As a Ministry, we are steadfast in our commitment to eradicating corruption. We are implemented robust measures, including the transfer of staff, to enhance transparency and efficiency in service delivery,” affirmed CS Wahome.
The delegation from the LSK included Nairobi Branch Chairperson Eric Kivuva, Vice Chairperson Ribin Ondwari, and Treasurer Irine Kiwool. CS Wahome was accompanied by Chief Land Registrar David Nyandoro and Director of Land Administration Gordon Ochieng.

“We believe that through this partnership, we can streamline legal processes and improve land administration for the benefit of all stakeholders,” said LSK Nairobi branch Chairperson Eric Kivuva. Both parties expressed a strong commitment to fostering a closer working relationship for the betterment of land services across the country.
